Statement

We believe there are better ways of doing business. Thanks to technology, it’s possible to have a 100% transparent and traceable coffee value chain, where everyone involved is informed about the scope and progress in the processing and commercialization of coffee.

Our mission is to create a conscious international community, with close bonds around the production, commercialization and consumption of coffee. Promoting a holistically sustainable and  transparent model of doing business, enhancing the development and welfare of coffee-producing communities from a social, environmental and economic point of view.

Values We Stand For

Honesty

To be honest is to be true, true with yourself and with others. We are making a change based on a 100% transparent business model. To ensure that everything remains true, we are open to tell our story and the story behind each decision made along our journey, we have nothing to hide and so much to share, so we will remain open to share anything that is allowed by law and without interfering with any rights of third parties.

Trust

It’s common knowledge that there cannot be any good business relationship without a strong foundation of trust between everyone involved. That is why we offer a personal, humane and close approach with all our members, we believe in friendship within any good business relationship and the level of trust that emerges from that.  

Justice

We want to bring justice to the small farmers and communities. It is inconceivable that the coffee industry is so well developed and the origin, the small producers, in most of the cases continues to live close to poverty, on a day by day basis. That is why we promote a transparent business model with fair profit for everyone involved, where everyone is aware of how much they earn and why they earn it.

Freedom

We aim to create a conscious community around coffee production and consumption, where informed decisions are taken freely. We promote and encourage freedom as we see it as an essential part of being. We are against any form of negative determinism.

Responsibility

Our main responsibility is with coffee producers, since they have always been the engine of such a developed industry. Nevertheless, every economic activity has repercussions within the environment, the society and the economy. We focus on carrying out projects from a holistic perspective, always taking into account all parties involved.

Respect

For us, respect is a fundamental and essential value for any good personal and commercial relationship. For this reason, we establish and promote a relationship between equals, where everything flows horizontally on a mutual basis of respect. We are not here to judge anything or anyone, we are here to collaborate and grow together.

Equality

We live and promote equal treatment between people and between companies. We want to normalize a horizontal treatment within organizations, producing countries and importing countries. For us, there is no justification for any type of discrimination, either made by a person or a company. We will always treat everyone as equal beings.

Cooperation

The cooperation in which we believe is based on a win-win relationship. All business relationships that we have made were proposed under an approach where no one loses or yields, we have always had an agreement, reached from consensus in which all parties win something. We believe that cooperation is a natural value within any community, that is why we focus on mutual support with all our partners. We can only make a true change if we stand and work together. 

Our Way of Doing Business

We realized that there are very diverse value chains in the coffee world, however, in most of them there are intermediaries who do not add real value to the chain and just make it unnecessarily longer. This normalization of the unnecessary has caused market prices to remain high while perceived as average.

Keep it simple: We started a community to gather together those involved who are absolutely necessary in the value chain, eliminating those who are truly not adding anything valuable. By cleaning it, we were able to rearrange the economic distribution and have fairer profits for each party involved, starting with the producers at origin.

Keep it optimal: Every member of the community is encouraged to optimize and standardize their costs. By searching and choosing the more adequate option, we can continuously improve the proposal and increase the benefits within our community.

Keep it real: We do not seek an individual economic benefit, as legit as it is, instead, we promote a community benefit, we believe that it is ideal that many do better rather than just a few. It is a model that promotes a medium and long-term commitment to the development of specialty coffee-producing communities; by basing the profit with the farm price, all other members are encouraged to maintain and improve the development and well-being of the coffee producing communities.

Keep it straight: One of our community foundations is transparency. We believe that being honest and transparent is the key to our business model. We use a digital platform and our public library to ensure that everything is available for anyone interested.
